So what has Eyjafjallajökull got to do with Canada, then?

 

Well - at Easter 2010, Wendy took her mum Vera to her sister Sue's house - and got thoroughly stuck there since the Volcanic eruption of Eyjafjallajökull had put the wrong kind of dust into the atmosphere thereby grounding hundreds of flights - including Wendy's.
