Horden (7 Pages)

 

Horden is where I lived until I went to University aged 18. I lived in "Linthorpe" until age 10 and then "Laure Hill" until I left for Strawberry Hill. A mining village in the North East of England - the soul of community was deeply affected by the Miners Strike of 1981. Within sight of the North Sea, my bedroom as a child had a view of the sea - which looking back i took for granted.
