I absolutely loved this modern sculpture, set as a tribute to those who paid the ultimate price on these beaches.

 

How can anyone adequately that? Realistically - how can that ever be possible. Yet somehow Anilore Banon has managed a hugely impressive, beautiful, bold and deeply meaningful piece of art. Stunning - absolutely stunning!
